My next Open House is Tuesday 31st October here at 33, Pippin Close, Selston, NG16 6JE.

Hello Everyone,

Phew it’s good to be back to safe emails again. Thank you all for your patience and help last month it really was appreciated.

My next Open House is  Tuesday 31st October here at 33, Pippin Close, Selston, NG16 6JE.

The garden is getting tidied up ready for winter, so do come and see me and all the fabrics to stock up ready for your winter sewing. I will have the next Moda Catalogue here too so you can peruse the new collections coming in Spring 2024….. Where did this year go.

I also have a new roll of Kathadin wadding here, I love it and there are two weights to choose from.

I have some lovely flannels to make cuddly sofa quilts, and a good range of children’s fabrics to make ready for Christmas presents.

I am making the twins a camp blanket each for Christmas, so they sew their scouting badges on to them.

Have you looked at the workshops programme on the web site the next one is a day doing foundation piecing from the start. Claire is joining me for this one and we will spend the day looking at how to make a pattern, and then making a special something to take and home and use. It should be great fun.

There a more workshops in the new year but be quick and book a place now. ORRRRR you could get someone to buy you one for Christmas!!!

If you are wanting to drop hints about Christmas we have Gift Cards available on the website. Then you can have fun  choosing  what you want over Christmas or in the New Year.

There won’t be an Open House at the end of November or December because I am away, but there will be a Special Event in January so watch out for the email.

If you need anything in between events do either ring and arrange to come to see me, or use the website. Its always good to see or talk with you.

I hope you are all well, and sewing is still oiling those creative minds and hands. I love seeing your work and meeting up with you all.

Keep sewing

Best wishes
